Werkzeug is great if you need more flexibility than Django. http://wasitup.com uses Werkzeug and I've been very impressed with it. My wasitup.web module is a Werkzug application alongside wasitup.http, wasitup.monitor, wasitup.persistence, and wasitup.mail.
